A Tale of Dreams and Sarees

Hello, world. I’m Ahmad Jamal, the heart behind Avon Sarees from Mau, a small town situated on the outskirts of Varanasi. We have been manufacturers of handloom and powerloom sarees for over 3 decades now.

I mention this because when Banarasi sarees came into inception in the early days, people from nearby towns and villages were also given the tasks of weaving sarees. We also played a significant role in supporting the establishment of Banarasi sarees through craftsmanship and weaving. Even today, sarees from Mau, Khairabad, Mubarakpur, etc., are a part of the top domination – Banarasi sarees. We can talk about history all day, but first, let me introduce you to Avon Sarees.

Hi, I am Ahmad Jamal. Remember the name, for it’s stitched into every saree we craft. I left the beaten path to follow the silken routes laid by my passion.
